05-09-2025 -- So Soree

Howdy all. Hey, it isn’t raining today. Of course the temperature when I got up was in mid 30s. But is headed to mid 50s.

I made my first grocery store run in 14 days. Spent a lot of money, but saved a ton too. Paid $180 for $270 worth of groceries. Lots of coupons and loyalty rewards. Freezer full of frozen veggies and stuff. And enough liquid eggs and cheeses and tomatoes and breakfast sausages for 3 - 4 weeks of omelettes. Also refilled my fruit bowls with oranges and mandarins. Still have some apples from the online purchase.

The lawn service was able to get here this morning. Usually they do this place on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. But, with all the rain and wet ground, they were/are behind.

The soreness in my mouth is finally down to just annoying. It heals a little each night. Maybe another couple of days and it won’t be bothering me.

Not much of a life update today, but then, not much is happening. Hopefully the weather warms in the next week and gardening will continue. Want to get the seeds in and transplants done. And, I want real flowers out there instead of plastic ones. Ah, and at 10:30 I got email notification from Burpee, that both my pepper/tomato plants, and my flower plants are being prepared for shipping. Yippee.
