06-04-2025 — Summer’s almost gone

Howdy all. So it has been a nice stretch of 80 degrees days. Yep, 2 of them. Tomorrow we go back to spring rain and 60s. But also some 70s in the forecast for next 10 days. Good enough.

Of course the Air Quality has gone to shiitake. Canadian wild fire smoke. Moderate starts around 50 range to 100. It means “sensitive” people should stick their heads in a blender and give up trying to breath. Of course we have, and will, pierce that 100 into the poor section. That is like breathing solid concrete to me.

The roses out front are picking up their blossoming. Reds are bursting out every day. The yellows are coming shortly.

The air quality is not stopping the ball games across the street. Late yesterday afternoon they were 2 soccer games at one end of the park, and baseball on the diamond across the street. Cars were running out of parking spaces.

This is the closest a baseball has come to my house. Glad those kids aren’t any older!!

Figured I’d end the post showing that there are creatures living here that do know how to Enjoy Life.
