01-21-2026 — The storm approaches

Howdy all. The temperatures outside actually rose overnight from around 10 degrees when I went to bed, to 20 degrees, now at 9 am. But, the winds also picked up and the windchill remains below zero. While this sounds cruddy, the real freeze is just around the corner.

Look at those temperatures coming Friday through the next week. Brrr and then some. Did you notice the days with the squiggly lines? Those are days when the winds will be over 30 mph gustings. Oh, and the present porncast says 8-10 inches (of snow) on Sunday. Should be delightful.

Chilly enough last night that Kitty came to my bedroom to snuggle with my feet in the comforter.

She does have her own cat box / bed in my room. But she seldom uses it. Prefers my bed or her own.

This was this morning when I finally headed downstairs, after cleaning the last of yesterday’s 3D prints.

I spent part of yesterday printing off these Zen Cats. A couple will be adding to an upcoming birthday gift. I’ll pick the variations I like best and send those.

Looks like my email provider is down. Yahoo! is not making it easy to do this blog, and Enjoy Life

Yahoo is back up after about an hour. Seems like it went down yesterday too. I just wasn’t trying to use it during that outage. Switching email providers is not something I want to do, and no way to Enjoy Life
