03-20-2026 — Sprung like a spring

Howdy all. Wow, the temperature at 1 pm is 57. I thought I read it was to drop all day during the rain (it is raining), and be 30s overnight. Along with winds pushing to 35 mph. Winds are gusting off and on. Around 10:30 this morning, it officially became spring. If nothing else, the snow is temporarily gone. Although, I did see it in the forecast again by Monday. UGH.

I have potatoes and onions and flower seeds to plant, but I prefer it to not be raining and chilly.

This guy doesn’t mind the weather apparently.

Those are real live spring bulbs pushing up through the ground behind this fox squirrel.

Last night there were a few visitors in the back yard. At first I couldn’t determine, in the security videos, who this one was. But finally they made an appearance in a better lit area of ground.

A rather ratty looking, but quite chubby, possum. Please eat every grub that is out there. And any other tiny creatures I’d rather not see.

One creature I do like to see, is Kitty. She dropped in (well, jumped up onto) a few minutes ago to say meow.

I just love the lack of symmetry in her eyes and face coloring. She is so darn cute.

She is what keeps me going and allows me to Enjoy Life
