03-27-2026 — False Spring

Howdy all. So yesterday, by this time of day, the temperatures were in upper 50s, headed to mid-upper 60s. I even did a teeny bit of yard work when I took trash to curb, and when I brought the cans back in after pick-up.

These young fellows were playing basketball in the park, and had need of a bandaid for a cut one had. But look at what they are wearing. No shirts, and shorts or light-weight britches. Um, even at 65 degrees, I would be needing a lot more clothing for staying warm.

Anyway, a tad south of here, it got up to like 75 - 79 degrees. And, today, they are starting at around 29 degrees. A 50 degree drop in about 12 hours. Brrr.

Here, we started the morning at 28 with a wind chill barely above single figures.

And tomorrow will be chillier. Brrr.

Hopefully by Monday I can continue the yard work and get gardens started for the year. Then, when the flowers start popping, it is time to Enjoy Life
