05-07-2025 -- Life is ?improving?

Howdy all. Wet and foggy most of morning. And it wasn’t raining! I did go out for a bit to spray weeds. Figured I get them to begin to die prior to the lawn service arriving today.

Well, it is after 5 pm now, and lawn guys haven’t shown yet. Maybe tomorrow. They were likely trying to catch up with customers that couldn’t be done earlier this week.

So, I just went out and tossed about 10 pounds of ant killer granules on the thousand ant hills I found in the yard. Grass is still wet, but I could see the tiny ant hills freshly made today. Maybe the ants will pull the granules into the hills and underground for dinner tonight.. Eat up my little enemies.

The soreness in my mouth is a lot less today, but not gone. I applied some salt into the wound. Yeah, you read that right. Actually, a salty water rinse is good to help healing of canker sores and mouth ulcers. I figured it should work just as well on dentist made cuts. It does burn on application, but quickly lets up and sort of numbs the area some.

Oh, and dental office just called and said they needed to put off my crown fitting for at least a week more. They are not expecting the crown back from the “creator” by the prior May 27th appointment. Now it is June 5th. I miss my dentist down in Florida. Impressions were done with 3D imaging, and the crowns built in the same building. Sometimes, on the same day.

Also, in case you are wondering, Kitty has been just fine again. Just that one round of vomit comet night. She is laying on the back of the couch grooming herself right now. Waiting for me to announce I will get her dinner.
