07-10-2026 — The power of Rain

Howdy all. Well, we got a little rain overnight into the morning. I’d guess over a quarter inch, but less than a half inch. Just enough that I won’t be out watering the garden today. Buy the street power dropped about a half dozen times between 7-8 this morning.  Rain was almost gone then.  Huge t-boom around 5:40.  Shook the house and scared me a bunch.

Here is a set of pictures of that remaining sunflower.

Early yesterday morning, it was almost dried out.

I poured a gallon of water over it, and into the roots, which had it recovering to this.

This morning after the rain. Looking almost good.

And more oriental lilies have opened. So pretty.

Yesterday I had just a teeny bit more energy, even though I am way down because of the various reactions to the surgery and the prescribed poisons.

I finally got into the garage and got the lift table to work.

The cart can lift from 10 inches to 50 inches. So I will be able to add the next battery pack myself - If I can ever afford it.  It also can help with putting heavy stuff onto the shelves in the garage.

It only took me about 15 minutes in the sun/garage to get it actually lifting and dropping properly.  Why is it so hard to get clockwise correct for turning the adjusting nut, when looking down from above?   I darn near unscrewed it completely before realizing turning my wrench clockwise from above was just making it worse.  And I needed to see it as counter-clockwise turning. (Or anti-clockwise for the rest of the world).

And the best news of the week!!!, I took the last of the Ampicillin this morning. While the legs are worse now, than when I got up, I fully expect the Adema to clear up throughout the day, as it has been doing. And, then not be an issue when trying to sleep tonight. Yippee. And that is how I Enjoy Life
