08-20-2026 — I finished something

Howdy all. The nice fall days have continued, but we are headed back to 80s and possible rains, for the next week. The “Spray and Forget” with the extended reach nozzle, is due today from Amazon. I really want to try and get that upper 2nd floor area of the north side of house. It may take a few rains, but it will start to lose all of the mildew and mold with each one.

I went out to pick cherry tomatoes today.

Not as many cherry tomatoes ripe as I thought. The yellow cherry tomatoes are from inside plants.  A lot more good sized reds outside than expected too.  Oh, and that’s it for onions.   I had harvested some previously but not a great year for onions.

A replacement label maker arrived yesterday and I got to work.

Not perfect. But better.

After updating the labels, I went the next step and used the dot labels to match the colors of the chart, to those virtually invisible indent embossed numbers on the panel. Now you can quickly look and find where the HVAC is, and see its color is a lighter blue #20, and can instantly identify which breaker to use. 

I’m happy now!    Well at least I’m happy about this project!
