Howdy all. A brrr morning here. Temps around 39-40, but the 30 mph wind gusts have the so-called real feel temperature near 20.

The winds have found leaves to leave in front of the garage and front entrance. And spread lightly in backyard. More will come in, but sometime soon will be snow covered. There were light flurries yesterday, even with temperatures near 40.

The leaves like to collect against the walls.

But no part of the yard is really safe.

I did get outside for a few moments this morning to prepare for winter snows. The last few years have had at least one deep snow prior to year-end.

I mark the edges of the driveway and walkway each fall so the plow truck driver knows where to not go.

Those are reflective fiberglass marking poles. Very flexible. When the plow hits one, it easily bends out of the way.

Now I need to get my butt upstairs and work on some Xmas laser projects.
