11-28-2025 — Happy Empty your Wallet Day
Howdy all. I hope you had a great family/friend get-together yesterday. And that you are out there supporting your retail economy today. Don’t overspend, but get me a great gift!! Seriously though, if you are using Amazon, consider using my affiliate link. Costs you nothing, and maybe I’ll get a few cents. Haven’t gotten a credit from them in awhile. “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.” — PLEASE CLICK HERE TO USE THIS LINK
The winds have let up a teeny bit since yesterday. Only 25-35 mph. Tonight may be my best chance to sleep well in a few days.
Leaves have been finding their way from somewhere just to blow in front of my entrance. It is snowing leaves.
I did buy a couple of items from Amazon today. As usual, only things I use/need, that are on sale. Lots of 3D filament is at great prices. And a couple of items to make Kitty’s life happier. Like a replacement cat condo for the kitchen. On sale for 2/3rds the price. The old one has issues after I sat something heavy on the top, and the walls won’t stand straight anymore. She can still use it, but I don’t feel comfortable when she jumps to the top.
She likes to sit on this and watch the backyard through the patio doors. https://amzn.to/44izMQv
I did make my large pot of cream of Turkey / Turkey soup.
Lots of taters and veggies and turkey and Turkey gravy and cream of mushroom soup. I was going to season it with salt and pepper after it had time to merge more. But it didn’t need it. It was yummy. I also put 3 or 4 sandwich bags of turkey in the freezer.
Just started at this point.
Yummy for the tummy. I froze one container of it already. Will likely eat more tomorrow, then freeze another container.
Tomorrow housekeeping will be here to clean up the mess I’ve made of my kitchen — I try to do it, but seem to do a lousy job — even I can tell that.
She will have to work around the pile of projects sitting in the Living Room that are for holiday gifting and decorating. I’ll start that up on Sunday — I sure do hope so!!!
Wrapping paper, boxes, tapes, gifts, this and that to create projects, and much more. Mostly cardboard and bubble wrap that will end up in trash by Xmas.
Those 2 bins, and the stair climbing dolly’s case, are full of 3D prints and laser projects. All of this will disappear to others’ homes by Xmas.
And will hopefully give them a smile and allow them just a little bit more opportunity to Enjoy Life
