12-09-2025 — A Dozen - no Baker

Howdy all. I’m not a Baker, just a maker. Can’t bake much in temperatures that are more likely to be in the teens, than the thirties. A solid 31 at the moment. And the winds will be gusting for the next couple/few days from 30mph to 45mph. And they changed things up to say 1-3 inches of snow today and 2-4 tomorrow, followed by an icy rain. Should make the roads slick as snot.

Looks like the 1-3 inches has fallen already today. Wondering if I’ll try to snowblow or push it off the driveway tomorrow sometime. Was considering going to the grocery around 7 am. Don’t think I’ll do that now. It could be very messy.

I have been working on filling Xmas Card packet boxes. I ran out of something important though, and Amazon says it will be Thursday before I get them. Possibly later, with their inconsistent deliveries the last couple of weeks.

I have packaged up all of the boxes that will be delivered to Ohio. And started on the out of state ones too.

I’m building a Jenga tower. Oops, ignore the Kitty litter shipment beside the tower, and the incoming box of Coke (the drinking type).

This year, which will be the last of the huge card packets, I decided it might be wise to record the various USPS shipping labels/tracking numbers. I’ll finally know when they arrive at their destinations.

I’ll be requesting a pickup for Friday. And maybe another for Monday. I do have a bunch of boxes to go. But at least I’m over half-way done. Yippee for me. Soon I can put this stuff away and do my minor decorations. Then I’ll be ready to enjoy the holidays, and Enjoy Life
