05-05-2025 -- I need a fifth

Howdy all. The rain stopped during the early hours. And even better, the winds slowed down to less than 10 mph gusts. Yippee. But, with all the moisture in the air, the day started very foggy.

This was just before I left the house.

I had my dental appointments this morning. Started with a cleaning, and the discovery of a tiny hole in the top of a bottom tooth. After that, into another room for the impressions for a crown for the implant.

The first impression is of the upper teeth. Then, one of the bottom teeth reveal. Then, they took the temporary implant screw post out to put in the one that will be permanent. That new screw post kept pinching flesh (gums) as it went in. Not very nice. Then the actual impression for the crown.

Each impression grabs onto the surrounding teeth, and I swear removing the impression will take all of the teeth with it.

Curiously, the dentist, after the impressions, says, “Good thing we are getting that new crown in soon. The tooth behind it seems to be a little loose.”…… Duh!

Anyway, he then fills in the minor hole in the other tooth..

Finally, after totally messing up my cleaning, and leaving tons of adhesive crap everywhere, they do the Fluoride Varnish on the teeth. So, instead of leaving with that silky teeth after a cleaning feeling, I left with my teeth feeling like I just ate a ton of melted cheese.

Not to mention, leaving about $850 at the counter to cover my share of the work. Not the best way to Enjoy Life.
