05-02-2025 -- Removal day
Howdy all. It is an almost decent day outside. A tad damp after all of the needed rain yesterday. I won’t need to water plants for a few days at least. Especially since more rain is predicted over the weekend.
I moved many power tools to the front of the garage, yesterday and this morning. All of these power tools are to be leaving today. Bill’s son Bill is trying his hand at woodworking. So, he will have lots of ways to manipulate wood. A miter saw. A scroll saw. A workbench. A workbench grinder/tool sharpener. A workbench belt and circular sander. A handheld belt sander. A set of wood planes. A set of wood files. A spray painter. Clamps and more.
Doesn’t look like that much in this picture for some reason. And it all needs a good cleaning. Very dusty, leafy, and cobwebby. Hmm, didn’t know cobwebby was a word == it didn’t get flagged as misspelled?
Late yesterday, I printed off a couple of signs for his new toys. 3D printing is so much easier than cutting things up with saws…
1:30 pm update — all loaded. Bill managed to load everything into his vehicle, while his wife Renee, and I, wandered the backyard, looking at plantings. Oh, to be young….
Of course now I need to re-organize stuff in the garage too. Never ends. Neither does the need to Enjoy Life.
