07-05-2026 — The following day

Howdy all. Liquid is falling from the sky. Not a lot, but at least it is sprinkling. And, there is NO HEAT ADVISORY!!! I am hoping for a quarter inch for today, and then more tomorrow. Just enough to keep garden beds and flowers happy.

Writing about liquids, I am slowly going towards more “solid” meals after a couple of days post Oral Surgery. I had microwaved egg whites with ricotta and crumbles of feta cheese this morning. Yeah, I probably could have consumed it with a straw, but I’m not allowed to use a straw yet.

Lots of protein/fiber drinks and yogurt and smoothie goo.

I only took two of the Vicodin before saying no more. I have taken a few of the Ibuprofen from the prescription, but not anywhere near the amount allowed. I took one this morning when I got up, and likely will take another when I head to bed tonight.

I hope everyone celebrating had a great Fourth of July, now celebrate with a Fifth (Vodka, Rum, etc.) and Enjoy Life
