07-06-2026 — No Harvest today

Howdy all. A bit of drizzle this morning again. Total for last 3 days has to be less than a third of an inch. Humidity is high though. Windows are foggy in the morning. Even though I am still getting my act together over the oral surgery, and, it seems Vicodin and ibuprofen both cause Edema, so my ankles are stretched out and rough and red and sore, I went out to check the garden today.

Results were zero harvest. I could bring in lots of potatoes, but seeing as I am barely eating solid foods yet, no need for them. Lots of tomatoes coming along. Some look like they will be a nice size.

These are the cherry sized tomatoes. Tons coming.

Onions are coming along, and the raspberries and blueberries are ripening up for the birds and critters than wander through the backyard.

Almost ready for early harvest.

The flowers in the back beds are really popping now.

And the various bulbs I planted this year, and prior, are looking real close to lots of blooms.

The bulbs in this bed will fill in around the shrubs very nicely.

Look at the size of that sunflower head. I sure hope the squirrels leave this remaining plant alone enough so it can bloom.

I am hoping that tomorrow I’ll get back to normal eating (with some care!!), and start getting some activity again too. I’ve been putting off a lot of little projects due to pain, or lack of energy. Doing/Making is the best way to Enjoy Life
