Howdy all. Weather is the same. May rain in a week. Cooler though. 40s overnight right now.

Anyway, the government is shut down. How will we possibly tell that? It hasn’t done much to help us in years. Maybe them doing nothing will make it better for us?

Doing nothing is not making me better though. I finally got outside to do some more fall cleanup in preparation of winter. Planted winter “flowers” out front.

The yellow roses are real. The little rain that fell spurred the bush into one last attempt. So few leaves. I hope it survives the winter.

Red roses also are real.

You can tell it is fall by the leaves on the ground in the back.

I also moved 4 bags of potting soil to one of the tomato beds by the fence. Put them in after removing the last of the tomato plants there. Tossed plants and green tomatoes into compost bin. One bin is pretty full at moment. The other will be also when I get the cherry tomato plants ripped out (soon) and all of the dying greenery from bulb flowers that are around the house and shed. That will be soon too.

The other night I caught this on security video.

Almost looks radioactive. I would find it and kill it, but it might turn me into Spider-Man.

Watch what happens when my sleepy, sweet Kitty sees another cat.

This black and white cat is the nemesis of the neighborhood indoor felines. Kitty hates him(her).

Kitty goes totally insane and will rip off anything, or anyone, that is close enough to reach. I know better that to get too close. Her eyes are totally dilated and she is seeing blood and nothing else.

As for the outdoor cat, I had to go outside and chase it away. It wasn’t afraid at all and sat there like it was watching a familiar TV show.

I guess that’s the way, it knows to Enjoy Life
