10-12-2025 — Little Stinker

Howdy all. Yes, weather is chillier, but still dry. They keep moving any precipitation that is in the forecast, further out. Soon though, it won’t be rain, but snow. And I’m guessing there will be a lot of it this season.

I was watching security camera video from the other night, and saw this little one out front for over an hour and a half.

That was at 4:08 am, and the following is 5:37 am.

He (She?) dug up the mulch across the front of the house, and dozens of small holes in the yard to the side.

That whole area was smooth, and all mulch inside the blocks.

Notice the tuffs of dried grass in the yard where the digging continued.

Obviously the critter was finding lots of grubs or other larvae to eat, and was feasting at the all you can eat buffet. I’d be upset, if it weren’t for the fact that it means there are now a lot fewer bugs next to the house looking for a way in. Go Skunkie. Eat, Live, Love. Enjoy Life
