10-14-2025 — Double Tapped

Howdy all. Weather a touch warmer than lately. Only mid 50s overnight, and looks like mid 60s for the high. Almost nice. Rain still may come in 4-5 days. Sure.

It is the last quarter of the year, and the winter flu and cold season should be starting this month. So, I went in for my yearly set of vaccines today.

It was a very quick trip to the local Giant Eagle Grocery Store’s Pharmacy. I had called in advance to make sure supplies were available and there shouldn’t be any major wait time. There was zero wait. Went up, got my paper to fill out, filled it, went to cashier, used my points card, and since I was on their files, didn’t even need to show ID or MediCrap cards. From there I walked 20 feet to the “consultation” booth, and a person came out and did the quick set of needles into my right shoulder. One right below the other. Flu vaccine needle was felt more as it entered.

I figure since my right shoulder/arm is still hurting, for like the last year, may as well localize any pains.

I was out my door, and back in the house in less than 45 minutes. Most of that was navigating the traffic backups from construction. Will that ever end?

Depending upon side effects, I may update this blog entry, or give an update another day.

Here is a picture that makes up for any visuals from vaccines.

Caught this on one of the security cameras earlier this morning. Kitty is blissfully sleeping in the sun’s rays. But, mini kitty is not so comfortable…

Still, I think they are both glad to Enjoy Life
