12-18-2025 — Warm? Wet! Windy!

Howdy all. We are having a break from deep winter, today and tomorrow. Temperatures “soaring” through the 40s, and even possibly getting above 50. Of course rain is also in the forecast. And the wind gusts will “soar” into the 40mph+ range today, and the 50mph+ range tomorrow.

A couple of squirrels are enjoying the temporary reprieve from winter.

I had a dental appointment yesterday to try and save a root-canal tooth. The dentist ground out as much as he could, and cemented a post in the stub. He’ll glue a new cap on the post mid-January. Even if this works, the tooth will likely fall apart within 3-5 years. I won’t be enjoying that.

Kitty has been getting a gift every other morning this month from the Advent calendar his cousins down south, sent to her.

I think she is gifted out at this point.

Sort of a look that says, “Stop already. That’s enough..” — But I think she just might like knocking this one around the floor at night. It rolls well, and makes a slight sound as it is moved.

But for now, this isn’t what she wants. She wants to take a nap, and Enjoy Life
