12-23-2025 — Tis the day before the day before

Howdy all. Christmas will soon be upon us. I hope your Christmas is either white and wonderful, or at least green and delightful. They’ve changed the forecast here a few times. Now it is for a blah winter’s day with neither sun, nor snow.

At least travel should not be affected by this weather.

For me, no plans to drive anywhere. And I did a quick grocery run this morning before sunrise, that should get be through the end of the year.

At this point, I am up to 6-7 cards from friends and family for the season. That’s about average now. People can not afford the cards themselves, nor the ridiculous postage to send them. Kitty and I do have some gifts to open Xmas morning. She’ll mostly watch, sniff, and walk away. Like she did with her last two Advent calendar gifts (balls).

I had trouble reaching this one after she tossed it from her bed.

Yeah, I never did get around to placing the lights properly around the tree. But I don’t turn them on anyway. They would help dry this live tree out and I’m hoping I can get it to grow outside.

It should be warm enough to put it out in one of the semi-protected raised bed garden areas for the winter. And come “summer” I can give it a permanent home where it should Enjoy Life
