04-19-2025 -- Shroom Shroom

Howdy all. Not much to say today, the day before Easter 2025. Stormy day so far. Was in mid 70s overnight, falling all day until it gets into 40s by Easter morning. Big storm blew through around 6 am. I turned up the “Gray noise” through Alexa, and pulled a pillow over my head. I really hate storms and winds. It is looking like we will see rain and possible storms most of the day. They hit around 8 and 9 and small break now at 10:30 with more on the radar.

Anyway, about the only thing positive was a nice mushroom harvest this morning.

A few day’s worth of omelettes with the freshest of shrooms. This was the 2nd flush from these kits.

Since I grow upstairs in my spare bathroom, carrying the larger 12 inch boxes started getting a bit too cumbersome. And, each flush was really too many shrooms for just me. Growing these on a shelf in the tub means it is easy to keep them from drying out (bathrooms are usually humid) and any mess is contained. No, I don’t use that bathroom for anything else. Wouldn’t want strange spores to find their way to my edibles..

I am still working on my filament organization. Did more 3D printing of tags and am waiting for labels and containers that “should” show up in today’s Amazon delivery. I will show update photos on my progress soon (like maybe Monday).
