12-28-2025 — 3 days after

Howdy all. So it is 3 days after Christmas now. All decorations are put away. Awaiting housekeeping to find any pine needles I missed. I’m watching the weather outside, as today there is a heatwave. Temperatures may hit 60 degrees, with plenty of rain, before dropping like a rock through the evening into the night, as the winds pick up and up and up. The forecast is for us to see that same 60 tomorrow, except the temperature will be around freezing, and it will be the winds gusting around 60 mph. The wind gusts don’t look like they’ll get back under 30mph for the next week. Freaking ridiculous.

My brother stopped by Friday, and when he was leaving, we walked by the generator box outside. It was falling apart. Actually, it looked more like someone had tried to tear it apart. The walls were angled outward, and pieces from the one side and the top, had fallen in on top of the generator.

I had to go out yesterday in the cold wetness and try and make it sturdy enough that if I need the generator in the next week.

Not exactly a quality repair. Lots of bungee cords to hold the pieces in place, while using some wooden stakes in the bottom corners to try and get the walls more perpendicular to the ground.

As you can see, there is a big arse lock and chain securing the generator to the ground. Even if some clowns did get the box out of the way, unlikely that they will get the generator free.

And, I just had an electric hit. I will save this for now. Enjoy Life
